I had to stay late for work tonight. It’s not too often that I stay away from home, but someone has to pay for PonyBoy’s school. It was going pretty slow tonight, so I decided to clean out my desk. As I was looking through it, it was just some old receipts, but near the end I found some pictures of Mickey Mouse. Micky Mouse was a real good horse, buckskin and 100% quarter horse. I found another picture of us doing some barrel racing. That was loads of fun. I shoved the pictures away and found an envelope with Mickey Mouse written on it. I had no clue what it was, but when I opened it up there was $500.00 inside of it! That’s when it hit me. This was the money I saved up to buy Mickey Mouse back. I still think that if I keep trying, I will be able to buy him back, and go back into the rodeo....
